Project Manager - Portal, Collaboration, and Social Business Systems

Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the project planning and execution throughout the project lifecycle for content management, portal, and knowledge management based projects, built with Office 365 and SharePoint technology solutions or method development, including: gathering and prioritizing product and stakeholder requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the delivery organization to execute and ensure overall business goals and strategy are met.
- The Project Manager is expected to:
- Define the project scope, approach, roles and responsibilities
- Work closely with designated project sponsors and other stakeholders to define approach and scope of desired product capabilities
- Deliver project requirement documents with prioritized features
- Assess technology solutions and work with external third parties to map features and functionalities
- Partner with information technology resources and/or business resources to plan, deliver and optimize solution
- Run beta and pilot programs with early–stage products and samples (e.g. UAT or Early Adopters Programs)
- Be an expert on the product features and functionalities
- Act as a leader within the company
Qualifications
- Your experience MUST include 6 – 7 years of experience in client service or technology in addition to the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferably in a related field ( Business, MIS)
- PMP certification (or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Product management experience (3–4 years)
- Knowledge and experience with the following technologies and areas: MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Project Management, Microsoft Office, business process or method development
