Vorsite Search Connectors for IBM FileNet & EMC Documentum

Indexing Connectors, also known as Protocol Handlers, are essential to high productivity in information-driven organizations. By indexing the contents of a target system, these connectors allow users to quickly query and retrieve results from diverse back-end systems without leaving the Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server (MOSS) 2007 Interface.

The Vorsite Search Connectors for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 works with Microsoft enterprise search systems to index content in an EMC Documentum repository or IBM FileNet P8 repository. Once indexed, the Vorsite Search Connector displays search results to users from within the familiar MOSS interface. These capabilities are based on the connector’s ability to natively access the appropriate file formats, data structures and security implementation of the enterprise content management platform.
